“I Survived”
I am haunted,
Not driven.
How do you put into scope,
A simple act of living.
Nearly forty four years,
And I still wonder,
Lost in to many thoughts,
A soul should ponder.
It should not be so specific.
It should not be so contrived.
After all beyond the wreckage and smoke,
I survived.
