They feel so empty
These holiday days
Magical illusions I miss
In so many ways

Looking for this years trinkets
This year's teddy bear
Glittering memories
Of never there

Shopping together
For family and friends
So many precious moments
Well, that depends

Only seemingly special
Lies compounding lies
Snowflake teardrops
Fall from my eyes

Magical illusions
As insignificant as me 
The magic of a season
I no longer see
