I wish I’d spent more time with you,
In January,
It might offer me,
Some sanctuary.

But I can’t regret,
Those days that I missed.
Or those moments,
I dismissed.

I know you loved me,
Unconditionally.
And that’s all I need,
For me.

I loved you,
As the very best,
That I could do.
 

I could be upset,
I could be angry.
I know you were there,
For me.
 

And that you always,
Will be.
I just wish I’d spent more time with you,
