Sleepless

   

"Sleepless"

   

I’m sleepless,

Here in Kansas City, Missouri.

Just another state in a country,

You know where were free.

   

You might protest,

Declare its all untrue.

But you are allowed a voice,

And that at least is true.

  

I know the price,

Of crossing that line.

Place the burden upon me.

I shall be fine.
