Change

   

“Change”

 

God after all of this,

I must seem like an ass.

As if you can look through me,

Like a pane of glass.

 

Change I assume,

Is the operative word.

Untethered,

With sails unfurled.

 

Change very much,

Has occurred.

Much like many of us,

Have endured.

 

Change is what it falls to,

Change is what it boils down to.

It all really boils down to.

What you are going to do.

 

Change.
